Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead bid strategies for electrical construction projects. You will prepare estimates from takeoffs, review specs and drawings, and coordinate with suppliers to build competitive proposals.

You will mentor junior estimators, identify value engineering opportunities, and ensure accurate data backing every estimate. Travel up to 10% is expected; a bachelor’s in CM or engineering and 4+ years of estimating are preferred.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Perform arithmetic for estimating.
• Estimate all project types and supervise group effort.
• Mentor junior estimators and ensure customer needs are met.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates from quantity take-off and develop detailed cost data.
• Review plans, specs, and attend pre-bid meetings to define scope.
• Identify value engineering opportunities to reduce costs.
• Solicit quotes from qualified suppliers/subcontractors and manage back-up data.
