Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. seeks an Estimating Manager to lead a team of estimators, plan, prepare, and complete bid and cost estimates for electrical construction projects, and mentor direct reports.

You will review scope and specifications, coordinate with senior estimators, and ensure timely delivery of documents for successful bids. You will establish objectives, develop execution plans, and help optimize value engineering opportunities while maintaining strong communication with clients and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ estimating or other relevant experience in closing constructions estimates.
• Expert Experience in Accubid estimating software, LiveCount Cloud, and Bluebeam software preferred.
• Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the estimate from quantity take-off on the project and complete the estimate to computer printout.
• Review and approve proposal specifications, and drawings, and attend pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate.
• Provide direction to direct reports and ensure processes and procedures are followed and met.
• Mentor and supervise estimators and senior estimators in company procedures and systems.
