Job summary

M. J. Electric, LLC is seeking a Senior Estimator - Industrial to lead development of technical scope and independently prepare cost estimates for industrial and commercial electrical construction nationwide.

This role drives pricing, resource planning and bid strategy with a focus on accuracy and competitive outcomes. Responsibilities include RFP support, cost analysis, and coordination with project teams, vendors, and clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in estimating, project management or field work in industrial/commercial electrical construction (preferred).
• BS/BA in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Admin or equivalent experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist with RFP preparation, project specifications, and pricing schedules.
• Develop detailed cost estimates from site drawings and scopes.
• Analyze time, equipment, materials, and manpower requirements for each project.
• Prepare and maintain pricing schedules and historical cost data.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and subcontractors to determine costs.
• Provide oversight and technical expertise across industrial/commercial projects.
