Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking an Estimating Manager to oversee all estimating needs across multiple projects or a single large complex project. You will lead the estimating team, develop cost deliverables, and collaborate with operations, design teams, and clients to ensure accurate, timely estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management.
• 8–15+ years of relevant estimating experience.
• Ability to lead multiple estimates concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Leads the estimating process and deliverables for multiple concurrent projects.
• Develops estimating deliverables for various project types and delivery methods.
• Prepares preliminary conceptual cost estimates and budgets with clear cost assumptions.
• Coordinates with operations, accounting, VDC, purchasing, and scheduling.
• Supervises a team of estimators on large, multi-disciplinary estimates.
• Presents estimating deliverables and participates in pursuit interviews.
