Job summary

Gilbane Building Company seeks a Senior Estimator to lead estimating on large, complex projects. You will coordinate with the Senior Estimating Manager, preconstruction, and operations teams to price, bid, and develop robust cost plans.

You will mentor estimators, refine cost models, and present estimates for competitive bids while ensuring alignment with project schedules and procurement milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 5–10+ years relevant estimating experience preferred.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads the estimating deliverable for an entire project with Senior Estimating Manager and team.
• Coordinates development of site service costs with operations and preconstruction leads.
• Mentors estimators to develop large, multi-disciplinary estimates.
• Reviews bid documents to assess project risks and requirements.
• Develops cost models and validates costing assumptions.
• Communicates with clients and teams to support bid recommendations.
