Job summary

Gilbane Building Company seeks an Estimating Manager to lead estimating across multiple projects or a single large complex project. You will guide the team, develop preliminary and detailed estimates, and collaborate with operations, design, and procurement to optimize value.

You are a proven leader with 8–15+ years in construction estimating, strong communication, and the ability to manage diverse project types.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 8-15+ years of relevant experience.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead estimating process for multiple concurrent projects through the design phase.
• Develop estimates for multiple project types and delivery methods.
• Collaborate with operations, accounting, VDC, purchasing, and scheduling.
• Coordinate and supervise a team of estimators on large multi-disciplinary estimates.
• Lead Value Management to reduce price and increase value.
