Job summary

The successful candidate will oversee equipment operation, participate in risk assessments, and support proactive maintenance while maintaining high housekeeping and accountability.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining or heavy industry is preferred and knowledge of safety systems.
• Willingness to adhere to OSHA / MSHA regulatory requirements.
• 3-5 years’ experience in mining / heavy industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment daily based on production needs and maintain high safety standards.
• Lead hazard identification and control discussions with crews.
• Assist with training and developing other operators to improve proficiency.
• Perform quality pre-operation inspections and document results.
• Support with site safety communications and near-miss reporting.
• Contribute to maintenance and housekeeping to protect equipment and people.
