Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking an Equipment Operator to join our mining team. You will operate heavy equipment, perform pre-operation inspections, and support safe production while maintaining high standards of housekeeping.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years mining experience, strong communication, and commitment to safety. Willingness to work day or night shifts, travel to support new sites, and pass equipment qualifications is required.

Qualifications

• Willingness and ability to adhere to OSHA / MSHA regulatory requirements.
• 1-3 years’ experience in mining or heavy industry preferred.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Exemplary attendance and safety records.
• Flexible with daily job duties and shifts.
• Must pass and maintain equipment qualifications for listed machinery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high accuracy and engagement in hazard identification and control.
• Engage with crews and leadership to define processes toward goals.
• Assist with MSHA task training and verify compliance.
• Live Turner values in daily decisions.
• Maintain housekeeping standards on machines and work areas.
• Flexibility on shift schedules (days and nights) to support training and production.
