Turner Mining Group seeks an Equipment Operator to join our mining operations. The role emphasizes safe production, hazard identification, and proactive engagement with crews to maintain high standards of equipment care and operational efficiency.

You will work under the supervision of the foreman, support safety-focused decision making, and have opportunities to train toward Senior Equipment Operator responsibilities as part of site development.

Qualifications

• OSHA / MSHA regulatory requirements adherence
• 1-3 years’ experience in mining / heavy industry preferred
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Excellent communication skills
• Exemplary attendance and safety records
• Willingness to be flexible on daily duties
• Ability to operate under safety ownership and accountability
• Pass and maintain Turner Mining Group mobile equipment qualifications for listed equipment

Responsibilities

• Identify hazards and ensure high engagement in hazard control
• Coordinate with crews and leadership to improve processes
• Assist with MSHA training and regulatory compliance
• Train proficiency audits and safety culture demonstrations
• Support risk assessment processes across the organization
• Maintain housekeeping standards for machines and work areas
• Travel to support timelines and production requirements at sites
• Communicate effectively with leadership and site personnel
