Qualifications

• Willingness to adhere to OSHA / MSHA regulatory requirements.
• Entry Level Miners will be subject to a probationary period of six months from date of hire.
• 0-1 years’ experience in mining / heavy industry preferred.
• Ability to obtain working knowledge of safety systems and processes.
• Appropriate attention to detail required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Exemplary attendance and safety records.
• Willingness to be flexible on daily job duty requirements.
• Maintains a positive learning attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hazard identification and control to ensure safety.
• Engage crews and leadership to define efficient processes.
• Support MSHA regulatory task training and compliance.
• Live Turner values in daily decisions and actions.
• Participate in risk assessment processes at multiple levels.
• Maintain equipment and housekeeping to high standards.
• Communicate effectively with site leadership and crews.
• Complete quality pre-operation machine inspections per Turner standards.
