Job summary

You will plan and schedule work, coordinate with other departments, maintain records, and provide training to meet MSHA requirements; rotating shifts and strong leadership are required.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience or training in areas of supervision.
• MSHA IS certification a plus.
• 3-5 years of related mining supervision experience; college degree may substitute for up to 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of heavy equipment operators and maintenance personnel to meet production goals.
• Plans and schedules production/maintenance work using personnel, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinates safety activities and ensures MSHA compliance and environmental standards.
• Maintains attendance, records, and performance feedback for team members.
• Coordinates with other departments/shifts to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Maintains production and cost records to plan future schedules and equipment availability.
