Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a Lead Maintenance Technician to supervise the maintenance of mining equipment and to mentor crew members as a subject matter expert. The role supports the Foreman with supervisory duties and emphasizes safety, efficiency, and proactive maintenance on site.

The successful candidate will lead training efforts, ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA standards, and maintain high equipment reliability while promoting Turner Values and safe production across sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining or heavy industry (5-10 years preferred).
• Knowledge of safety systems and processes.
• Ability to adhere to OSHA / MSHA regulatory requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attendance and safety record.

Responsibilities

• Develop supervisory leadership skills while maintaining equipment and safety standards.
• Lead training efforts and assist with supervisor duties as needed.
• Assist with regulatory training and safety audits.
• Coordinate with site leadership to ensure use of systems and processes.
• Support maintenance notifications and reports; manage time and resources effectively.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe working conditions.
