Job summary

Turner Mining Group is seeking a Lead Plant Maintenance Technician in Soda Springs, Idaho. The role focuses on developing supervisory leadership while maintaining plant equipment and training crew members as an SME, with duties in safety, quality, and on-site leadership.

Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to Safe Production, MSHA/OSHA compliance, and the ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, to support training and production needs.

Qualifications

• OSHA/MSHA regulatory requirements knowledge.
• 5–10 years’ experience in mining or heavy industry.
• Strong communication and safety-focused approach.
• Attention to detail and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Lead training efforts to grow other technicians and assist with proficiency audits.
• Work with site leadership to ensure consistent use of systems and processes.
• Assist with crew development, timekeeping and production reporting.
• Support incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain equipment and oversee safety programs and housekeeping.
