Job summary

Matrix NAC seeks a Sr. Project Manager to provide overall direction and manage field projects of any size, risk, scope and complexity. Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, collections, marketing and client relations.

The role requires leading diverse teams, coordinating with subcontractors, preparing estimates, and ensuring projects meet time, budget, and quality targets. Travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in Engineering, or Construction Management; or combination of equivalent education and 15 years job-related experience if no degree
• Prior project management/P&L experience preferred; includes 10+ years supervisory experience in Heavy Industrial/EPC project work
• Experience working with union construction subcontractors is a plus
• PMI Project Management Certification preferred
• Advanced knowledge of construction, finance, business development, and project management
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Responsibilities

• Actively supports safety and company core values
• Represents the company at client and bid meetings
• Establishes project objectives, policies and performance standards
• Plans, organises and staffs key field positions
• Oversees on-site field supervision to ensure design, budget, and schedule compliance
• Provides technical assistance and change orders
• Manages profit/loss accountability and client billings/collections
• Develops new business opportunities
• Additional duties as required
