Job summary

Matrix NAC is seeking a Project Manager, Substation and Plant Electrical to direct multiple field projects, manage scope, budgets and schedules, and develop new opportunities within our client base. You will lead diverse craft teams, ensure safety and quality, and report to senior management while upholding our core values.

Qualifications

• 6+ years substation & plant electrical project experience; PM/P&L exp preferred; includes 2+ years supervisory
• 4-year degree in Mechanical, Civil or Industrial Engineering or Construction Management; or 8 years equivalent exp
• PMI certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Actively supports safety and core values.
• Represents the company at bid, project and strategy meetings.
• Establishes project objectives, policies and performance standards.
• Plans, staffs, and oversees field positions through department heads and supervisors.
• Monitors field supervision to ensure design, budget and schedule compliance.
• Manages project-level metrics and adjusts operations to meet targets.
• Tracks scope and schedule changes with proper documentation and approvals.
• Responsible for P&L and client relations; ensures billings and collections are current.
• Develops new business opportunities within client groups or geographic areas.
