Job summary

Matrix NAC in Pittsburgh seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead field projects across multiple disciplines, owning scope, schedule and budget while pursuing new business opportunities. You will guide PMs, manage financials, and maintain strong client relations to drive project success.

The role demands a 4‑year degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience), plus PM experience, and a solid grasp of construction practices and finance.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in Engineering or Construction Management; or 15 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Prior PM/P&L experience with multiple projects; heavy industrial/EPC background preferred.
• Experience with union construction subcontractors a plus; PMI certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of construction, design, finance, business development and project management.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication; strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall direction and manage field projects of varying size and complexity.
• Develop new business opportunities relative to clients or geographic areas.
• Plan, organize and staff field positions; supervise on-site field personnel.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, billings and collections; ensure profit/loss accountability.
• Oversee bid, project and strategy meetings; ensure compliance with policy and standards.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve construction method issues; issue change orders as needed.
