Job summary

Matrix PDM Engineering seeks a Senior Project Engineer I to lead the engineering execution for assigned EPC projects, serving as the primary technical contact with the client and coordinating discipline leads to meet contract scope and quality.

The role partners with project management, procurement, and document control to maintain schedule and ensure compliance with applicable codes and good engineering practices. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• B.S. in any engineering discipline from ABET-accredited university is required.
• 6+ years of experience leading multi-discipline EPC projects (mechanical, structural, electrical, and controls).
• Experience with design review, procurement support, and project start-up processes.
• Ability to interpret client specifications and manage scope and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead project execution and coordinate engineering activities to satisfy scope and quality.
• Serve as primary technical contact on the project with the client and internal teams.
• Support schedule development and monitor discipline inputs to keep on track.
• Coordinate with procurement, document control, and field teams to ensure timely submittals and closeout.
