Job summary

Matrix PDM Engineering is seeking a Senior Project Engineer I to lead the overall execution of engineering for assigned EPC projects and proposals. You will act as the primary technical contact with clients and may serve as the Project Manager on smaller projects, ensuring scope, quality, and schedule alignment.

You will coordinate with discipline leads to determine design criteria, manage changes, and support submittals while upholding Core Values and safety commitments.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering from ABET-accredited university is required.
• 6+ years of experience leading multiple disciplines in EPC projects/proposals.
• Experience with engineered fixed equipment including LNG, ammonia and bulk storage systems.
• Ability to understand client specifications, procurement, commissioning and start-up standards.
• Strong management skills with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Overtime and travel will be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall execution of engineering for assigned projects or proposals.
• Monitor and coordinate engineering to meet contract scope and quality.
• Serve as primary technical contact with the client; may act as Project Manager on smaller projects.
• Maintain schedule and ensure timely submittals and design reviews.
• Coordinate with project management, procurement, and discipline leads to manage changes.
