Job summary

SOLV Energy is looking for an Engineer 3 who will serve as a technical Subject Matter Expert focused on value engineering, QA/QC, and independent technical judgment across utility-scale EPC projects. This position can be fully remote or based in the Edison, NJ office.

The ideal candidate should have 4-7 years of experience in engineering, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, and proficient knowledge in AutoCAD. This role includes managing various tasks, interfacing with multiple teams, and ensuring project deliverables.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in relevant fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar focus preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert across utility-scale EPC projects.
• Ensure coordination of design deliverables with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage Owner, Owner’s Engineer, and Independent Engineer submittals.

Skills

4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, utilities, or large-scale infrastructure projects

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Working knowledge of Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar focus preferred)
