Job summary

SOLV Energy is looking for an Engineer 3 to act as a technical Subject Matter Expert focused on value engineering, QA/QC, and independent technical judgment across utility-scale EPC projects. This position can be fully remote or based in Edison, NJ.

Responsibilities include managing design deliverables, supporting permitting efforts, and ensuring quality control across the engineering team. Ideal candidates should have 4–7 years of engineering experience, a degree in Engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Ability to adapt and respond quickly in a fast-paced EPC environment.
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert focused on value engineering, QA/QC.
• Review technical RFP documents and provide engineering input.
• Ensure coordination of design deliverables with stakeholders.
