Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Engineer 3 to act as a technical Subject Matter Expert for utility-scale EPC projects. This position can be fully remote or based in Edison, NJ, with responsibilities including QA/QC oversight and engineering coordination.

The ideal candidate has 4-7 years of experience in the EPC, renewable energy, or infrastructure sectors, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Engineer-in-Training (F.E.).
• Ability to travel up to 20% to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical subject matter expert focused on QA/QC.
• Manage owner and consultant submittals and coordinate comments.
• Track and manage engineering deliverable schedules.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Strong organizational skills

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar preferred)
