Job summary

SOLV Energy is hiring an Engineer 3 to act as a Subject Matter Expert on value engineering, QA/QC, and technical judgment across utility-scale EPC projects. This position allows for remote work or can be based in Edison, NJ.

The engineer will manage engineering coordination, support permitting efforts, and provide independent oversight on project schedules and deliverables. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s in Engineering and 4–7 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of progressive engineering experience in EPC, renewable energy, utilities, or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in parallel.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical Subject Matter Expert on value engineering and QA/QC.
• Document meeting minutes for engineering and permitting‑related meetings.
• Review technical RFP documents and provide input to the estimating team.

Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Working knowledge of Primavera P6

Strong organizational skills

Clear written and verbal communication skills

Self-motivated and accountable

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Solar focus preferred)
