Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead complex environmental consulting projects and act as a technical advisor to clients across private and public sectors.

The role emphasizes Phase I and II ESAs, Brownfields redevelopment, regulatory compliance, and risk-based strategies, with mentorship of junior staff and growth of BLE's environmental services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental sciences or related technical field; master's preferred.
• 5–10 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting, investigation, due diligence, remediation, or regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing complex environmental projects from proposal/scope through regulatory closure.
• Professional registrations such as PG, PE, CHMM preferred.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred or required where applicable to project responsibilities.
• 8-hour HAZWOPER Supervisor Training certification preferred or required where applicable to project responsibilities.
• Experience with Brownfields, regulatory programs, and environmental due diligence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and client relationship capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for commercial, industrial, institutional, and development properties.
• Lead Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and follow-up investigations.
• Conduct environmental due diligence for property acquisition, disposition, financing, development, and redevelopment.
• Develop investigation strategies and communicate findings to clients.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with multidisciplinary BLE teams.
• Ensure QA/QC, regulatory compliance, and project documentation.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, scopes, subcontractors, and deliverables.
