Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead complex environmental consulting projects for private and public clients. You will oversee Phase I and Phase II ESAs, due diligence, Brownfields redevelopment, and regulatory compliance from scope through closure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related environmental field; Master’s preferred.
• 5–10 years of progressive environmental consulting experience.
• Experience managing complex environmental projects to completion and regulatory closure.
• Professional registration or certification such as PG, PE, CHMM, or similar preferred.
• 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred or required where applicable to project responsibilities.
• 8-hour HAZWOPER Supervisor Training certification preferred or required where applicable to project responsibilities.
• Demonstrated experience with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments.
• Experience with Brownfields, redevelopment programs, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and provide technical guidance to junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead Phase I ESAs for commercial, industrial, and development properties.
• Lead Phase II ESAs and related follow-up investigations.
• Oversee environmental due diligence for property transactions and redevelopment.
• Evaluate historical and current environmental conditions and risks.
• Develop and refine Conceptual Site Models (CSMs).
• Coordinate with developers, attorneys, lenders, regulators, and clients.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, and subcontractors.
