Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks a Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead complex environmental projects for private and public clients. You will manage Phase I and Phase II ESAs, environmental due diligence, Brownfields redevelopment, and regulatory compliance, coordinating with developers, attorneys, lenders, regulators, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Geology, Biology, Chemistry, or related technical discipline; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of progressive experience in environmental consulting, environmental investigation, due diligence, remediation, or regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex environmental projects from proposal through regulatory closure.
• Professional registration such as PG, PE, CHMM preferred.
• HAZWOPER certification preferred/required where applicable to project responsibilities.
• Experience with Phase I and Phase II ESAs; environmental due diligence for property transactions.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, risk assessment, and remediation strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to manage budgets, scopes, and subcontractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead Phase I Environmental Site Assessments for commercial, industrial, institutional, and development properties.
• Lead Phase II Environmental Site Assessments and follow‑up investigations.
• Conduct environmental due diligence for property acquisition, disposition, financing, development, and redevelopment.
• Develop investigation strategies and conceptual site models (CSMs) for projects.
• Mentor junior staff and ensure QA/QC standards are met.
• Coordinate with developers, property owners, attorneys, lenders, regulators, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare sampling plans, work plans, investigation reports, and remediation plans.
• Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project resources.
