Job summary

BUNNELL LAMMONS ENGINEERING is seeking an experienced Service Leader – Environmental Due Diligence to lead site assessments and redevelopment efforts. You will manage Phase I and Phase II ESAs, coordinate reports, and mentor staff while maintaining client relationships.

The role requires strong technical knowledge in real estate due diligence, EPA/state programs, and the ability to drive multiple complex projects to successful completion in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in environmental due diligence projects.
• Strong understanding of ASTM Phase I/II ESAs and AAI requirements.
• Familiarity with Brownfields programs, state cleanup frameworks, and redevelopment planning.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in financial management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with real estate, financial, or public sector clients.
• Knowledge of vapor intrusion assessments and risk evaluation methods.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute ASTM-compliant Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Phase II investigations.
• Oversee preparation of work plans, sampling strategies, and technical reports.
• Ensure timely delivery, regulatory compliance, and technical quality.
