Job summary

Arcadis U.S., Inc. is seeking a Senior Environmental Due Diligence Professional to lead Phase I ESAs and related EDD projects. The role supports the EDD CoP and interacts with junior staff and senior experts across projects and portfolios.

The position requires 7–10 years of Phase I ESA experience, strong technical writing, and a valid driver's license. Travel up to 25% is expected for site visits and client meetings across the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or closely related field.
• 7-10 years' relevant experience conducting Phase I ESAs, including project and portfolio management and team development.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local environmental regulations (CERCLA, SARA, RCRA, CAA, CWA, EPCRA, SPCC, etc.).
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Support, coordinate, and manage Phase I ESAs and related projects within the EDD CoP.
• Develop scope of work and proposals; oversee high‑quality reports and deliverables.
• Coordinate review of project documents with clients, contractors and team members.
• Travel up to 25% for site visits and data collection.
• Mentor and train junior colleagues supporting Phase I ESAs.
• Manage Phase I ESA projects and portfolio work; support Phase II ESA planning.
