Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Environmental Due Diligence Professional (Environmental Scientist/Engineer or related) to support Phase I ESAs and EDD projects across the continental U.S. You will lead project scope, proposals, and deliverables while mentoring junior staff within Arcadis’ EDD CoP.

The role requires 7–10 years of Phase I ESA experience, strong regulatory knowledge, and excellent technical writing. Occasional travel and collaboration with clients are essential to success in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental field required.
• 7–10 years’ Phase I ESA experience with project and portfolio management.
• Knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations (CERCLA, RCRA, CWA, EPCRA, etc.).
• Strong technical writing skills and ability to review complex documents.

Responsibilities

• Support Phase I ESA production and related EDD projects within Arcadis CoP.
• Develop scope of work, proposals, and deliverables for EDD projects.
• Oversee and review Phase I ESA reports and client communications.
• Coordinate with junior staff, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25% to project sites as needed.
• Manage Phase I ESA projects and portfolio initiatives, including Phase II planning.
