Job summary

Arcadis U.S. Inc. is seeking an Environmental Due Diligence (EDD) National Technical Expert to support Ph I ESAs, EDD portfolios, and client engagements.

You will review reports, prepare scopes of work, and coordinate with clients and Arcadis colleagues as part of an interdisciplinary environmental team. The role requires extensive experience in Phase I ESAs, regulatory compliance assessment, and senior-level review capabilities, with travel as needed and the ability to manage multi-site/global

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field.
• 20+ years’ experience conducting Phase I ESAs, with project/portfolio management and team development.
• Knowledge of CERCLA, SARA, Brownfields, RCRA, CAA, CWA, EPCRA, SPCC, and state/local storage tank regs.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental/Civil Engineering, EHS Management, or related discipline.
• Contractor management experience.
• PM experience of multi-site/global EDD projects.

Responsibilities

• Support EDD CoP with Phase I ESA portfolios and projects.
• Prepare or review Phase I ESAs and related deliverables; senior review.
• Develop scope of work and proposals for EDD projects.
• Coordinate reviews with clients, contractors and team members.
• Lead large EDD portfolio projects when required.
• Review complex regulatory permits and compliance status; identify gaps; recommend actions.
