Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Environmental Due Diligence Professional to lead Phase I ESAs and related EDD projects across domestic and international client portfolios. The role involves coordinating scope, writing and reviewing assessments, and collaborating with Arcadis’ EDD CoP.

You will help develop proposals, support project management, and travel up to 25% to client sites. A strong track record in Phase I ESAs and regulatory knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental field with relevant coursework and experience.
• 7–10 years' experience conducting Phase I ESAs, including project and portfolio management and team development.
• Knowledge of federal, state and local environmental regulations (CERCLA, SARA, RCRA, CAA, CWA, EPCRA, SPCC, state storage tank regs).
• Strong technical writing skills
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Support, coordinate, and manage Phase I ESAs and related projects within Arcadis’ EDD CoP.
• Write and review Phase I ESAs and support Phase II ESA planning.
• Travel up to 25% for site visits and client engagements.
• Develop proposals, scopes of work, and deliverables for EDD projects.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate multi-site EDD portfolio work.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or closely related field

Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental/Civil Engineering, EHS Management, or related discipline
