Job summary

Vertex Inc. is seeking an experienced sales professional to drive revenue by selling Vertex tax solutions across a defined territory in the United States. You will develop account plans, penetrate targeted accounts, and build long‑term relationships with customers at the executive level.

The role includes responding to RFPs and collaborating with Vertex Consulting to craft compelling proposals. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business and 15+ years of outside sales

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business.
15+ years of outside sales experience in transaction tax software preferred.
Experience selling software or consulting services to mid- or senior-level decision makers.

Responsibilities

Sell Vertex tax solutions to new and existing customers in a defined territory.
Develop strategies and account plans to penetrate defined territory and targeted accounts.
Build relationships with executives and stakeholders to drive enterprise-wide value with Vertex solutions.
Respond to RFPs and develop joint proposals with Vertex and partners.
