Job summary

Vertex Inc. is seeking a highly experienced sales professional to generate revenue by selling Vertex tax solutions to prospects and existing clients in a defined territory.

You will develop account plans, understand customer tax and technical environments, and drive opportunities at strategic levels within large multi-department enterprises. You will build relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders, respond to RFPs, and collaborate with Vertex Consulting to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business.
• 15+ years of outside sales experience in transaction tax software.
• Strong working knowledge of Vertex or comparable transaction tax software.

Responsibilities

• Sell Vertex transaction tax solutions to prospects and existing clients.
• Develop strategies and account plans for territory and accounts.
• Build relationships with senior-level decision makers and sponsors.
• Respond to RFPs and develop joint proposals with Vertex Consulting.
• Collaborate with sales management to maximize account value.
