Vertex Inc. is seeking a results‑driven salesperson to generate revenue by selling Vertex tax solutions to defined accounts and territories. You will craft account plans, build senior‑level relationships, and tailor Vertex offerings to customer needs.

The role includes responding to RFPs, collaborating with consulting teams, and driving multi‑department deals to maximize value for customers and Vertex. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Marketing or Business with substantial outside sales

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of Vertex or comparable transaction tax software.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, time management, negotiating and decision‑making skills.
• Superior presentation and communication skills at verbal and written levels, including executive audiences.
• Strategic thinking, relationship building and problem solving.

Responsabilités

• Sell Vertex transaction tax solutions in a defined territory to prospects and existing clients.
• Develop territory strategies and account plans to penetrate target accounts.
• Build long‑term relationships with customers and key decision makers at multiple levels.
• Develop and respond to RFPs and joint proposals with Vertex Consulting; foster partner relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maximize account value and support customers’ initiatives.
