Job summary

Vertex Inc. is seeking a high-impact Enterprise Sales professional to generate revenue by selling Vertex tax solutions across a defined territory.

You will develop strategic account plans, penetrate new and existing accounts, and build executive-level relationships to drive multi-department deals. You will tailor Vertex solutions to customer needs, respond to RFPs, and collaborate with Vertex Consulting to create compelling proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business, plus extensive outside sales experience in transaction tax software.

Responsibilities

• Generate revenue by selling Vertex tax solutions across a defined territory and accounts.
• Develop territory strategies and account plans to penetrate new and existing customers.
• Understand customer business and service requirements to tailor Vertex solutions and drive enterprise-wide value.
• Build relationships with senior executives and stakeholders to influence decisions and close multi-department opportunities.
• Develop and respond to RFPs, create joint proposals with Vertex Consulting, and foster partnerships between Vertex, customers, and partners.
• Keep customers informed about Vertex initiatives and industry developments, and communicate these to internal teams.
