Vertex Inc. is seeking a high-performing account executive to drive revenue through selling Vertex tax solutions in a defined U.S. territory.

You will develop account plans, understand customer tax and technical needs, and build long-term relationships with executives across multiple departments. You will lead strategic and tactical opportunities, respond to RFPs, and collaborate with Vertex Consulting to create compelling proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business; fifteen+ years of outside sales experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Vertex or comparable transaction tax software.
• Background selling software and or consulting services to mid- or senior‑level decision makers.
• Other functions may be assigned, and management retains the right to add or change the duties at any time.

Responsabilités

• Sell Vertex transaction tax solutions to prospects and existing clients.
• Develop strategies and account plans to penetrate defined territory and targeted accounts.
• Understand customer requirements to tailor Vertex solutions and develop long-term relationships.
• Drive opportunities at strategic and tactical levels by selling enterprise-wide value to the highest levels within customer organizations.
• Respond to RFPs, develop joint proposals with Vertex Consulting, and foster partnerships between Vertex and customers/partners.
• Build awareness of Vertex’s direction by keeping key customers informed of initiatives and developments.
