Job summary

Vertex Inc. is seeking a high-performing sales professional in the United States to generate revenue by selling Vertex tax solutions to prospects and existing clients within a defined territory.

You will develop strategies and account plans to penetrate accounts and deliver enterprise-wide value. You will build long-term relationships with C-suite and line-of-business leaders, qualify opportunities, respond to RFPs, and collaborate with Vertex Consulting to craft tailored proposals that win

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business.
15+ years outside sales experience selling transaction tax software.
Strong track record of relationship development and business development.
Experience selling software to mid- or senior-level decision makers.

Responsibilities

Generate revenue by selling Vertex transaction tax solutions in a defined territory.
Develop strategy and account plans to penetrate target accounts.
Sell into multi-department enterprises at executive levels with Vertex's enterprise-wide value.
Build relationships with key customer and partner contacts to maximize accounts' value.
Respond to RFPs and develop joint proposals with Vertex Consulting.
