Job summary

GCI is seeking a Systems Architect to lead enterprise architecture initiatives across data analytics, software development, and cyber operations. You will guide modernization efforts, develop roadmaps, and provide actionable recommendations to executive teams.

The role requires experience in enterprise-scale IT, ServiceNow, and cross-functional collaboration with stakeholders. You will mentor teams and deliver concise briefs on cost, risk, and modernization progress.

Qualifications

• Enterprise architecture leadership in complex, federated IT environments.
• Experience maturing EA practices, especially from start-up conditions.
• Skills in business architecture, capabilities, value streams and operating models.
• Strategic technology planning, portfolio management and roadmapping.
• Experience with executive-level writing and briefing.

Responsibilities

• Review and modernize enterprise systems and services with focus on business processes.
• Develop and maintain enterprise reference architectures and roadmaps.
• Coordinate with engineering teams to implement architecture solutions.
• Prepare decision packages for IT leadership with clear trade-offs and costs.
• Lead workshops with ISSO/ISSM, system owners, and PMOs.
• Create SOPs, guides, and training for ServiceNow workflows.
