Job summary

GCI seeks a highly skilled Enterprise Architect to lead architecture strategy across complex IT programs. You will collaborate with the Chief Architect to define future state roadmaps, develop reference architectures, and drive modernization using ServiceNow automation patterns.

The role emphasizes executive briefing, risk assessment, and RMF A&A alignment, with responsibilities spanning from policy to deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise architecture in a federated or mission-oriented IT environment.
• Proven ability to mature EA practices from start-up or low-maturity states.
• Strong skills in capability modeling, value streams, and investment framing.

Responsibilities

• Review secure and unsecure systems to identify modernization opportunities and interdependencies.
• Develop and maintain enterprise reference architectures and roadmaps in collaboration with the Chief Architect.
• Build automation-heavy workflows and front door experiences for ServiceNow (Flow Designer, Integration Hub).
• Create and extend IT service catalogs and intake templates for IT support and security processing (visit/access).
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria; manage UAT and training activities.
• Deliver executive briefings detailing costs, value, risks, and modernization progress.
