Job summary

GCI is seeking a Systems Architect SME with TS/SCI clearance to lead enterprise architecture efforts in a complex, mission-driven IT environment in Northern Virginia. The role involves shaping the enterprise technology roadmap, developing reference architectures, and delivering automation on ServiceNow to support security, RMF, and A&A processes.

You will collaborate with engineering teams and provide executive-level briefings.

Qualifications

• US Citizen with active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Experience leading enterprise architecture in complex, mission-oriented IT environments.
• Experience building and maturing EA practices and reference architectures.

Responsibilities

• Review customer secure and unsecure systems to identify modernization opportunities.
• Assess lifecycle status, obsolescence, interoperability, and modernization opportunities.
• Identify cross-domain dependencies and risks across infrastructure, apps, data, security, and cloud.
• Evaluate technologies and frame value, risk, dependencies, and adoption considerations.
• Provide technology recommendations for the enterprise technology roadmap.
• Develop and maintain enterprise reference architectures and transition-state designs.
• Lead process mapping and future-state design for enterprise intake and vetting aligned to RMF/DoD processes.
• Create reusable subflows and automation patterns in ServiceNow and support UAT.
