Job summary

GCI Communication Corp in Anchorage, Alaska, seeks a Staff Systems Architect (ServiceNow) to define and evolve enterprise IT architectures, integrations, and application environments. You will translate business needs into architectural runway, enabler work, and actionable designs guiding iterative delivery.

You will lead architecture discussions across product, engineering, security, and operations, ensuring scalable, secure, and compliant solutions while managing risks, debt, and long-term

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Systems Analysis, Engineering, or related field required.
• Minimum of six years of experience in at least two telecom/IT disciplines including architecture, engineering, cloud, data, security, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Define system context, integration views, data flows, and architecture runways.
• Guide Agile/SAFe planning, architecture reviews, and system demos.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, data, and operations to ensure executable designs.
• Identify dependencies, risks, and technical debt affecting delivery and performance.
• Provide architectural guidance and enablers to delivery teams throughout PI planning and delivery.
