Job summary

Appian is seeking a Senior Solutions Consultant to drive the technology evaluation stage of enterprise sales and act as the primary technical advisor and product advocate. This remote field role requires collaborating with Account Executives to shape the technical strategy and deliver bespoke Proof of Concepts for Fortune 500 clients.

You will present complex architectures to C-level executives, validate technical proposals, and influence the product roadmap.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field.
5+ years in solutions consulting, pre-sales, or enterprise architecture roles.
Strong fluency with REST APIs, databases, SQL, and cloud environments.
Proven track record delivering technical demonstrations and POCs/ POVs.
Willingness to travel up to 70% as required.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical strategy with Account Executives and drive regional sales goals.
Architect and deliver high-quality Proof of Concepts (POC) and Proof of Values (POV) for enterprise customers.
Present complex architectures to C-level buyers and position Appian’s capabilities.
Manage RFPs and RFIs, addressing technical objections with credibility.
Collaborate with Product Management to feedback customer requirements and influence roadmap.
Mentor associate Solutions Consultants and share reusable assets.
