Job summary

Advanced Utility Systems, a Harris division, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to win new municipal utility customers across North America. This is an individual contributor role focused on new logos, with MEDDPICC, AI-enabled RFP responses, and aggressive pursuit strategy.

You will travel ~50%, operate in EST-friendly environments, and mentor junior colleagues as we expand in 2027–2028 while shaping how the team uses AI in demonstrations, proposals, and negotiations.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of quota-carrying software sales to municipal utilities.
• Proven new-logo closing track record with public sector buyers.
• Experience shaping procurement through RFP responses and MEDDPICC.

Responsibilities

• Win new municipal utility accounts across North America with no install base farming.
• Shape RFPs early and own the response from kickoff to contract.
• Mentor a new sales team member and share best practices.
