Job summary

Advanced Utility Systems, a division of Harris, is seeking a Senior Account Executive to win new municipal utility customers for our CIS Infinity platform. You will own the pursuit from first conversation to signed contract, focusing on public sector buyers and long-cycle deals.

Travel as needed, remote-friendly across US & Canada, with EST timezone preference. The role emphasizes no install-base farming, a strong new-logo track record, and the use of AI to improve bids, RFPs, and demos.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of quota-carrying software sales experience selling CIS or enterprise software to municipal utilities.
• Proven track record of new-logo acquisitions and long-cycle deals with public sector buyers.
• Experience shaping RFPs and influencing procurement before RFP issuance.

Responsibilities

• Own a new-logo quota across North American municipal utilities (electric, water, wastewater, gas).
• Lead end-to-end pursuit from kickoff to signature, including RFP responses and demonstrations.
• Mentor a new sales team member and contribute to AI-enabled sales practices.
