Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Director of Sales for Veterinary to own our largest multi-location deals from first meeting to signed contract. This is an individual contributor role with a focus on high-value veterinary accounts across multiple locations.

You will close strategic deals that cover many locations, guided by inbound or SDR-created meetings, with no direct reports. Expect a 2M annual quota and long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• A record of closing $1M+ a year on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Selling into veterinary groups, or marketing and agency services to similar multi-location buyers.
• Long, consultative cycles with several decision makers.
• If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different job.

Responsibilities

• The full cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close, over 3 to 12 months.
• Deals with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders all at the table.
• Expansion: more locations and more services once a group signs.
• Proposals built with our strategists and leadership for the deals that matter most.
