Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking a Head of Sales for Veterinary to own large multi-location deals from initial meeting to the signed contract. This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports, focusing on strategic veterinary accounts across the US and Canada.

You will work with our sales development team and inbound leads to close deals that span many locations, with a 2M annual quota and opportunities to expand services after signing a group.

Qualifications

• A proven record of closing $1M+ annually on large, multi-location or enterprise accounts.
• Experience selling into veterinary groups or marketing/agency services to multi-location buyers.
• Comfort with long, consultative cycles involving several decision makers.
• If your background is high-volume, single-location or one-call transactional sales, this is a different role.

Responsibilities

• Own the full sales cycle on large deals: discovery, proposal, negotiation and close (3–12 months).
• Engage with owners, regional operators and marketing leaders at table.
• Drive expansion: add locations and services after signing a group.
• Collaborate with strategists/leadership to build proposals for key deals.
