Job summary

Samsara is seeking an Enterprise Sales Engineer to drive technical sales in the Midwest US market. The role focuses on supporting senior sellers, growing existing customers, and acting as a senior SE resource in a fast-growing, public company.

The position is remote, travel up to 50% of the time, and requires strong storytelling, strong API knowledge, and the ability to manage complex technical evaluations. Join a team shaping our Connected Operations Cloud.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in a pre-sales technical role, customer success, or similar.
• Ability to influence stakeholders using technical sales acumen and business process understanding.
• Experience explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with hardware/software product evaluations and cloud-connected systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product demonstrations and live proof-of-concept trials for prospective customers.
• Collaborate with Product Management and other teams to develop the Samsara platform.
• Demonstrate value of Samsara products remotely or on-site, including events and webinars.
• Respond to RFIs/RFPs and overcome sales obstacles with creative approaches.
• Maintain high availability to Sales and cross-functional teams and contribute to SE enablement.
