Job summary

Samsara is seeking an Enterprise Sales Engineer to support senior-level sellers and act as a senior SE resource. You will conduct product demos, craft technical narratives, and drive proof-of-concept trials to advance complex deals across our Connected Operations platform.

This remote position prioritizes candidates in the West region of the United States (excluding SF Bay Area, NYC, DC metro) with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited university.
5+ years of experience in a pre-sales technical role or related customer-facing function.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Experience with hardware and/or software product evaluations.
Experience with cloud software, networking, and integrations.
Must be located within and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Conduct product demonstrations and live proof-of-concept trials for prospective customers.
Collaborate with Product Management to help develop the Samsara platform.
Demonstrate value proposition of Samsara products on-site or remotely.
Respond to RFIs/RFPs with technical detail.
Manage time and priorities to retire quota while contributing to SE enablement.
Engage with cross-functional teams to scale the SE function.
