Job summary

Samsara is seeking an Enterprise Sales Engineer to support senior sellers, grow existing customers, and serve as a senior resource for the SE team. The role requires strong storytelling, testing, and hands‑on experience to win deals.

The position is remote for Southeast US applicants (excluding SF Bay, NYC, DC metros) with up to 50% travel and proximity to an international airport preferred. You will source product information, run alpha tests, and drive process improvements across the team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
5+ years in a pre‑sales technical role or equivalent.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

Conduct product demonstrations and live proof‑of‑concept trials for prospective customers.
Collaborate with Product Management and other teams to enhance the Samsara platform.
Demonstrate value proposition of Samsara products and services on-site, via webinar, or at field events.
Respond to RFIs/RFPs with technical and functional details.
Stay organized and analytical, overcoming sales obstacles with creative approaches.
Maintain high availability to Sales and cross‑functional teams and contribute to SE enablement.
