Job summary

Samsara Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Sales Engineer to support senior-level sellers and act as a senior technical resource.

You will drive live demonstrations, trials, and customer engagements across a dynamic field, contributing to the growth of Samsara's Connected Operations platform. You’ll collaborate closely with Product Management and cross‑functional teams to articulate the platform’s value, handle RFIs/RFPs, and advance deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 5+ years in pre‑sales technical role or related field.
• Ability to influence stakeholders based on technical sales acumen and business processes knowledge.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Experience with hardware and/or software product evaluations.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct product demonstrations and live proof‑of‑concept trials for prospective customers.
• Collaborate with Product Management and other teams to help develop the Samsara platform.
• Demonstrate value propositions of Samsara’s products on-site, remotely, or at events; support RFIs/RFPs.
