Job summary

Charter Communications, Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Sales Engineer II for Spectrum Business to design and present advanced network solutions for mid-market clients.

You will collaborate with sales teams, assess requirements, and develop cost-effective fiber, private networking, voice and cloud solutions. You will prepare designs, pricing, and IRR analyses, support installation and commissioning, and train account teams on new products while staying current with industry trends and Spectrum

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 5+ years of sales engineering and networking experience in telecom or service provider industry.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT/telecom engineering technology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers and sales teams to assess network environments, business needs and technical requirements, delivering strategic proposals and solutions.
• Design complex voice and data network solutions, preparing topologies and specs for customer applications.
• Prepare pre-sale conceptual designs, collaborating with Engineering and Operations for review, costing and approval.
• Compile project cost elements, pricing and IRR analyses for Finance approval.
• Review and refine solutions for mid-market clients (25-500 employees).
• Support SE I with complex solutions on technical projects and customer challenges.
• Present technical proposals on Spectrum Business products and services; guide customers through integration.
• Conduct site surveys for successful installations; provide documentation and support to install teams.
• Deliver technical training to Account Executives and Sales Support; assist with new products.
• Maintain knowledge of Spectrum Business products and industry trends.
